thWas looking for somewhere new to eat out in chippenham, what is not an easy task unless you like indian or chinese food, and after stopping someone in the street they surgested revolutions, after walking in on a busy sat night was kindly greeted by a more mature lady that found us a little table in the corner. the restaurnat was very busy, but after a few minuites we recived some warm bread, and after a few more minuites the waitress came to take our order, we waited about 15-20 mins for our food, but was worth the wait and to have a free bottle of wine what more could you wish for! after finishing our 3 courses we came to pay and was suprised to see how cheap the bill was! we would deff go there again but the suroundings are looking tierd in places, and we did have to wait for some extra drinks but they were very busy and we had just walked in! keep it up!

After searching the internet for a suitable restaurant for a 21st birthday celebration, mid-way between South Wales and West Sussex, we decided on Revolutions after reading reviews and looking at their dedicated website. My husband phoned to book a table for seven at 8.00pm for Friday night and found the staff, friendly and accommodating. We travelled 115 miles to get to Chippenham and as the satnav directed us past the railway station through the none-too-smart end of town, I began to think 'What have we done?' I needn't have worried as the restaurant turned out to be at the top end of a shopping street, set on a corner, with large windows. We arrived at around 7.45pm, were greeted warmly by the staff and led to our table; in a corner where 'Happy Birthday' banners had been put up on the wall. The menu at Revolutions changes every two weeks and there was plenty of choice for all tastes. Across our party we ordered at least four different starters and main courses each. All arrived beautifully presented and no one was disappointed. The main course accompaniments, two types of potato and beautifully al dente seasonal vegetables, were hot and generous in quantity.
My only criticism would be that the dessert menu, though adequate, was not very imaginative. The members of staff were more than happy to serve the birthday cake we had provided, with the coffee. The 'icing on the cake' however, was the special offer on that evening - a free bottle of wine for each two adult diners eating two courses. Overall, I was impressed by the standard of the food, particularly the presentation and price; two courses for £15.95 and three courses for £17.95. The total bill with three bottles of mineral water and coffee was around £125, which did not including gratuity. If I needed to book a restaurant in Chippenham again, I would have no hesitation in going back to Revolutions or recommending the restaurant. Please tell me when they open a venue in West Sussex."
